Yoko Ono

Yoko Ono Lennon (born February 18, 1933 in Tokyo, Japan) is a musician of Japanese and American artists. She currently resides in New York City.Born in a privileged environment, which was the largest Yasoko Isuda, a member of one of the richest families in Japan, banking, and Eisuke Ono, who sacrificed his career as a trained pianist Classic on the bench. He attended the exclusive Gakushuin academy in Tokyo from primary school to the division of the university.

During the Second World War, the Ono family survived the bombing of Tokyo in an underground shelter. Ono and his brothers fled to the countryside, and were forced to beg for food while pulling their belongings in a wheelbarrow. His father remained in the city and, unbeknownst to them, was imprisoned in a POW camp in China.

After the war, Ono's family moved to Scarsdale, New York. Soon writing at Sarah Lawrence College. In 1956, she married composer Toshi Ichiyanagi, but they divorced in 1962.

Ono married American Anthony Cox, 28 November 1962. Cox has promoted a jazz musician, film producer and art. Their marriage was annulled on 1 March 1963, they again were married on June 6 and finally divorced February 2, 1969. Their daughter, Kyoko Chan Cox was born August 8 1963rd After a bitter legal battle, Ono was awarded permanent custody of Kyoko. But in 1971, Cox, who had become a fundamentalist Christian, after his divorce from Ono, Kyoko kidnapped and disappeared. Ono and her daughter were finally reunited in 1998.
